Berry Bowl Quart Size with Black Birds and Grapes Black

Rinse your strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and place the bowl right on the table on it's matching drip saucer. The berry bowl is approximately 4" tall in the dish x6.5" wide. It will hold a quart (or a lb.) of strawberries. Dishwasher/microwave safe. Signed "Sullivan, Canada" on the bottom of drip dish. 

I made this out of a white porcelain clay body. It is a pierced bowl resting in a matching plate, decorated with black birds and grapes transfers. I throw them on the potter's wheel, trim the bottoms with a foot ring so the bottoms are glazed as well. I then drilled 90 holes in the piece.The exterior decoration is a black transfer technique which is a silkscreening technique. The patterns are sealed permanently into the clay by the glazing process. A clear glaze is over the entire piece. Please appreciate the slight variations and imperfections that are the signs of hand made pottery. 

As with all porcelain pottery avoid dramatic temperature changes; no oven, do not freeze. Dishwasher, microwave safe. Please appreciate the slight imperfections that make hand made pottery so great.
