Porcelain Urn with Green Butterflies Transfer
This is a classic urn shape. Made of porcelain clay. I threw this piece in three sections then joined them when they were still wet. The small lid fits snugly in the flanged neck ready to be sealed. Decorated with a butterfly transfer motif, the classic clear ice crackle glaze gives a depth to the surface. The metallic rim and foot make this a signature piece. Signed, "Sullivan, Canada" on the foot rim. 6.5" Diameter 13.5" Tall. Holds 76 ounces.
