This pot can be used to hold a few utensils in the kitchen or as a vase or cache pot. I made this out of a white porcelain clay body. I threw it on the potter's wheel, trimmed the bottom with a foot ring so the bottom is glazed as well. The exterior decoration is a transfer technique which is a silkscreening technique ofbrids on branches eating grapes in black. The patterns are sealed permanently into the clay by the glazing process. A clear glaze is over the exterior of the piece, a green liner glaze is a nice colour contrast. Please appreciate the slight variations and imperfections that are the signs of hand made pottery. This pot is approximately 6" tall x 5.5" wide. Signed "Sullivan, Canada" on the bottom.
