Sculpture of Baby Elephant with Arabesque and Lotus Transfer

Ceramic sculpture of an elephant with raised trunk. Hand built hollow out of stoneware clay, and decorated with an all over body transfer pattern of arabesques with lotus flowers. The ears and saddle are carved with an arabesque and glazed in rich golds, greens and turquoise. Dominant colours are charcoal, turquoise, soft greens, and a golden sand. Be sure to look at the detail photos of this piece, it is rich and fascinating. Signed, "Sullivan". I advise keeping this indoors. 11.5" long x 5.5" wide x 14.5" tall. Lush and uxurious feel.
